We believe that supporting a child's learning is something we do together. That's why we created Thriving Together, a series where EUSD staff and Board members share helpful tips, everyday strategies, resources, and encouragement to strengthen the connection between home and school. Our hope is to share ideas that fit into your family's everyday life, while reminding you that the knowledge, experiences, and support you bring to your child's education are just as important.
For our second feature, we're excited to highlight Gina Smith, EUSD Board of Trustees Member! As a former EUSD student, educator, and parent, Gina brings a unique perspective to the importance of family involvement and the connection between schools and the communities they serve. In this feature, Gina shares a heartfelt message with our families about the difference we can make when we stay connected, encourage our children, and work together to support their growth.
